The house and property can be converted with little work into a Bed & Breakfast (a business which is sadly lacking in this area). The Bodega could be transformed into a separate Casita and there is more than enough room on the property to build additional Casitas should you so desire.
Our location is prime and in a highly desirable area which has seen a decided increase in tourist activity over the past few years. This vicinity sees little crime and the recently re-manned National Police Substation at the intersection of the Potrerillos Arriba and Potrerillos Abajo roads, assures those of us fortunate to live in the area, that this will continue. The Police Officers stationed here have made friends with the local community and appreciate the support they have received. They are determined to work to the best of their ability to ensure nothing disrupts the peace and tranquility of our “Little Piece of Heaven”.
The property is only one minute off the main Potrerillos-Dolega road, along a good gravel road. We are just a ten minute drive to Dolega then 30 minutes to either Boquete or David (less once the new four lane highway between Boquete and David has been completed). The drive along the Ruta Sur takes you to Cuesta de Piedra in about 30 minutes. From that point it is about 15 minutes to Volcan – much faster than the 2 hour trip from Boquete or previous 1-1/2 hours from Potrerillos. This new road gives easier access to The Frontera, Bugaba/Concepcion, Volcan, Cerro Punta, Guadaloupe etc. The drive is extremely scenic and not one to be missed.
Price of this home includes all furniture, appliances plus lawn tractor. Cooking equipment (copper bottom pans, most cooking utensils etc), Mikasa dining service for eight plus matching casserole, soup, hors d’oeuvres dishes, cutlery etc. Artwork, collectibles, power tools, hand tools, power garden tools etc. are all negotiable. (A figure, to be agreed upon, for all furnishings specifically those already included in the sale price, will be required in a separate payment from actual house value. This will facilitate ease of tax payments in both Panama and other countries.)
